Full body lift consultation #2

I went to another consultation with a plastic surgeon in Scottsdale to see how much it would cost me to get a full body lift. I’m not just looking at cost when it boils down to it, but it is a factor that needs to be within my means. After the doctor educated me on a million ways we can go about tucking a stomach, lifting breasts, and even pinning my thighs back in place, I spoke with the financial lady, and she quoted me another 35K in procedures. This would include follow up doctor visits, and 3 hospital stays, and all the fixings. Did you know they bill the breast implants themselves as a “product” and the rest of the stuff is a service?

Here is the list of items I would need to get done on my poor deflated self:

1. Breast lift (with keyhole incisions)
2. Breast augmentation (size C – 250cc’s seemed like a good size)
3. Arm lift, or whatever the heck it’s called
4. Inner thigh lift
5. Outter thigh lift (I probably won’t get this one because I don’t find it all that necessary)

Piece me back together doc! There is no way I can get these things done any time soon, but it’s nice to know the price and that I CAN be fixed if I win the lotto.

The plastic surgeon told me that I have a small frame, no hernias (yay!), and a good fat to muscle ratio. My favorite part was when he told me I had a “good bellybutton” :) When I was a teen, I always wanted to get my belly button pierced, but because of my size I couldn’t be all cute and hip like the other girls.

So I’m still on a search for a surgeon with a great track record, in expensive, and can make me feel comfortable.

Other than these consultations I’ve been going to, I’ve also been going through a lot of stressors. My ex fiance is finally moving out of my apartment, I lost my job and money is looking scarce, I’m trying to keep my weight stable (I keep losing and gaining the same 2 pounds over and over – Current weight: 128) and then I go through some mid life crisis and get a 8 week old puppy. I tell you, even though I want to eat a hole through the cabinets, I am staying focused on nourishing my body. Nourishment helps with me being happy.

7 more days until my 24th birthday!

Full body lift – Here’s what the doctor said.

Just when I thought I was done losing weight, my body decides not so fast! Once I hit my goal of 140 pounds, my body kept going and going. I felt exhausted as I tried to gain weight. It’s crazy how when you diet for so long, gaining weight is nearly impossible. I felt bloated and disgusted trying to stuff my face with food. It was really awful.

I went to my consultation with the plastic surgeon to see what it would take to get my body ‘fixed’ so to speak. 35K total to get this body back to where it needs to be. I about had a heart attack hearing those numbers, but it can all be financed, like a car.. right?

Ah a car. I already have a car payment, but it’s nothing compaired to the monthly payments i’ll have to pay back once I start this second step of my journey.

The plastic surgeon Dr Sean Lille let me know that he would like to visit back with me in a few months after my weight is stable. As I mentioned previously, it’s still wanting to lose. Another 10 pounds is okay according to doctors orders. So here we go. Let’s see where my body takes me.

Life is exciting. This is a new year, with maintenance as a mindset, and weight loss being second nature.
