My First Post

Hey guys. Name’s Melinda, and I am just starting out blogging. I should have started this a year ago at the beginning of my diet, but I failed to make my own personal blog.

Dieting at first was a secret. Nobody must know what I am doing! I was quite embarrassed about the whole situation. I was FAT. Morbidly obese. I was a mess. You can learn a little more about me by reading my about section. Long long journey and lot’s of stories to tell, but for now I will post this until I get more things up and running.

Here I am: 23 years old. A year into dieting. 130 pounds lost.

I weighed 150 my entire life. Maybe I was born at that wieght..I don’t know. It sure felt like it in high school. The reason I am mentioning that is because I have gigantic breasts from the age of 14 and in 1994 I have a reduction surgery done.

I got lucky and picked the right doctor to do the job. He was the plastic surgery instructor for the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, and did a beautiful job on the breasts. 13 years later, I can barely see the scars, but they still get irritated when I wear a bra. (I am 58 so what difference is that…lol).

The most important thing to say to you is this…if they do your breasts…you can’t breast feed when you have a baby. It is just something you need to know before you decide to do it.

    Good luck and God Bless…

I have so many questions for you!!

i’ve been calorie counting for what seems like forever and averaging about 1-3 lbs of weight loss per month due to problems that keep arising with my appetite and energy levels. my email is nlynn0109@hotmail.com if you are available to answer some questions of this 27 year old, 200 lb, achey, mother of one who will never get to take her daughter to swim lessons for the fear of wearing a swimsuit in front of people!

    Thank you so much

    Nicky
